About Us
Vera Clarke and Valentina Gillies, both ASP and IAHSP accredited, bring their clients complementary tastes in decoration, which blend to assure exceptionally successful staging for the sale of residential and commercial properties. Their backgrounds are quite similar; both lived and traveled extensively internationally, giving them exposure to a broad variety of decorating styles. At the same time, both know Fairfield County well, having lived here for more than 25 years - Vera in Old Greenwich (14 years) and then in Weston (also 14 years), and Valentina in Westport for 20 years. Good friends before they became accredited and partners, they started Standout Staging LLC in early 2005 and have been busy ever since!
Vera and Valentina have staged more than one hundred properties ranging from one bedroom condominiums to multi-million dollar new constructions. They have worked directly with homeowners, with Realtors, and with Relocation Services. The results? They are happy to report an impressive record of quick sales and a long list of very happy, and many repeat, clients. This says a lot in a slow market!
Valentina Gillies, ASP, IAHSP
Valentina currently lives in Westport. Born in Venezuela, she and her American husband have lived in a wide variety of places, as business has required, including Mexico City, Paris and Hong Kong. In addition to her work as a stager, she also designs and decorates commercial properties, one of which won a first place SARA award (New York Council of Society of American Registered Architects)!!!

Vera Clarke, ASP, IAHSP
Vera lives in Weston where she has completely renovated her 70 year old home over the past several years. A native of Havana, Cuba, she was raised in Caracas, Venezuela and moved to the United States in 1982 with her American husband. While in Venezuela, she lived in and decorated a number of different homes and was a Realtor. Since she came to the USA, she studied design at Fairfield University and has renovated and redecorated two homes of her own.
